Longtime City Court employees Chantal Imes and Reginald Sanders have each been recognized for their lifetime of service to the Tangipahoa Parish community.
Imes was recently named the 2025 recipient of the Wilbert L. Dangerfield Award of Excellence. Presented by the Hammond City Council, the award recognizes Imes’ commitment to making a positive difference through her “selfless willingness to go the extra mile” to improve the quality of life in Hammond.
Sanders received the Louisiana National Guard’s Distinguished Civilian Service Medal. The Guard commended Sanders for his 26 years of service mentoring youth in the National Guard Youth Challenge Program.
Judge C. Britain Sledge, III, said, “I cannot think of two more deserving individuals to be honored for their selfless service to the people of our community.”
Imes and Sanders are longtime deputy clerks in the juvenile division of the City Court.
