Covington Police say they’ve noticed more juveniles out after curfew at the start of summer.
This summer, they’ll be stepping up enforcement of Covington’s juvenile curfew.
The Curfew applies to: Anyone under 17 years old. The Curfew hours: Sunday – Thursday: 11:00 PM – 5:00 AM, Friday & Saturday: 12:01 AM – 5:00 AM. The Exceptions: Accompanied by a custodian (parent/guardian), Running a reasonable errand, Attending official events (school, religious, civic).
Juveniles found in violation may be brought to the station and guardians contacted.
Guardians can also be cited for violations.
