Bogalusa Police reported yesterday that detectives secured the arrests of two additional juveniles (14 and 15 YO) for their involvement in Saturday morning’s deadly shooting.
The preliminary investigation revealed that an undisclosed, occupied residence was shot multiple times, by multiple different calibers and individuals. Further investigation revealed that while the juveniles, including the deceased, were shooting into and towards the residence, the deceased juvenile sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
Physical evidence, statements and the investigation in its entirety thus far, indicate that there was no opposing gunfire during this incident.
Numerous search warrants were executed.
Detectives ultimately recovered 3 firearms which are suspected of being utilized in the shooting.
All 3 juveniles were booked with the following: 1st Degree Murder, 4 counts of Attempted 1st Degree Murder, Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property, Illegal Possession of a Handgun by a Juvenile, and Failure to Seek Assistance.
Each one was turned over to the Florida Parish Juvenile Detention Center.
