Yesterday Ponchatoula Police Detectives assisted LA Probation and Parole Agents to conduct a compliance check on 50 YO Darryl Grant at an address on West McClellan Street.
Grant is on parole and is a registered sex offender.
Upon investigation at this residence, Grant was found to be in possession of the following: 9mm Beretta handgun, 40 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 17.8 ounces of suspected Marijuana, 50 grams of suspected Ecstasy, 12 THC vape cartridges, 1.5 grams of suspected Crack-Cocaine, Multiple plastic baggies and 1 digital weight scale.
Grant was booked on drug and gun charges.
