Dept of Health Update

Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 966 new #COVID19 cases. Of those cases, 899 were confirmed and 67 were probable. 98% of the cases reported were community spread. 2% were in congregate settings. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (17%) and between the ages of 30 and 39 (16%) accounted for 33% of the cases. There were 53 deaths reported to the state, bringing the current total death count to 8,912. There were 1,403 people in hospitals and 187 required ventilators.
