A 15-year-old student from Fontainebleau High School was arrested Thursday after bringing a weapon to the school campus. St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were alerted Thursday evening, after school, that administrators were notified that a student was seen earlier in the day with a weapon on the school campus. The 15 year-old student was subsequently arrested for Terrorizing and transported to Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center. The investigation remains ongoing.
“We have made it very clear that threats like this will be taken seriously,” Sheriff Randy Smith said. “We will continue to work with our schools and investigate any and all threats at our schools or to the students and faculty who attend them.”
