Yesterday, the Louisiana Department of Health reported 4,526 new #COVID19 cases. Of those cases, 3,846 were confirmed cases and 680 were probable cases. 95% of the cases were community spread. 5% were in congregate settings. Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (18%) and between the ages of 30 and 39 (16%) accounted for 34% of the cases. There were 47 deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 7,728. There were 2,033 people in hospitals as of yesterday and 219 require ventilators. In Louisiana, 74,517 have received one dose of the vaccine. And 7,068 have had a second dose.
