Farris and Deliberto in Run-Off

Voters put Marshal Pat Farris into a December run-off against a retired Hammond Police officer, Bert Deliberto, Jr. Incumbent Pat Farris was the top vote-getter position after the early votes were counted and narrowly finished ahead of the challenger. Farris and Deliberto will face a December runoff. In Ward 8, Constable Don Marshall was re-elected to a second six-year term, defeating challenger J.R. Bardwell by a slim margin.
