At their meeting Tuesday, Tangipahoa Parish School Board members passed a new employee salary schedule that begins July 1.
This year’s salaries include the 7 percent raise as well additional supplements for select supporting staff positions that will assist in closing the gap between St. Tammany and Livingston Parish.
“This is not a perfect salary schedule, but it’s a better salary schedule,” said Rose Dominguez, a board member. “There are so many things we want to adjust. We just have to take it one step at a time.”
