Tangipahoa Parish President Robbie Miller has signed an order lowering flags to half staff at Parish buildings in memory of long time city court judge Grace Bennett Gasaway who passed away early Thursday morning.
Judge Gasaway spent the last 25 years dedicating herself to serving the people of the seventh Ward as their city court judge. She raised awareness for juvenile issues, helped establish the annual back to school bash which provides school supplies for children throughout our community and lead the charge to streamline operations at the City Court.
Miller asks that flags remain at half-staff until the conclusion of funeral services for the Judge next week.
