There were different kinds of shots at the Pelicans game on Saturday night, with some spectators getting a COVID-19 vaccine.
Ochsner Health administered doses of the Pfizer vaccine during Saturday’s Pelicans game at the Smoothie King Center. Handlers gave out the vaccine on a walk-up basis. Vaccines were distributed from an hour before tip-off through the end of the third quarter on the 100-level concourse outside Sections 122 and 123.
Ochsner will also administer vaccines during the following Pelicans home games: today versus the Los Angeles Clippers, Monday, May 3 vs. the Golden State Warriors, Tuesday, May 4 vs. Golden State Warriors, and Sunday, May 16 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers.
