Yesterday the Louisiana Department of Health reported 615 new #COVID19 cases.
Of those cases, 408 were confirmed and 207 were probable.
98% of the cases reported were community spread. 2% were in congregate settings.
Individuals between the ages of 18 and 29 (23%) and ages 30 and 39 (20%) accounted for the largest portion of the cases.
There were 8 deaths reported, bringing the current total death count to 10,324.
There were 334 people in hospitals and 41 required ventilators.
The Department is reporting an additional 79,543 COVID-19 vaccinations administered since the last update. The state has now administered 2,522,672 doses, including 1,157,671 completed two-dose series.
