Tangipahoa Parish Director of Homeland Security and Emergency Management Dawson Primes has issued a proclamation closing the Tangipahoa Parish Waterways as a result of Tropical Storm Beta. This is a closure to recreational traffic of all waterways south of Highway 22 in the parish and that this proclamation will be strictly enforced by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries.
