A portion of School Road in Loranger will be closed for approximately nine hours on Friday, Sept. 11, as Tangipahoa Parish Road and Bridge crews complete a cross drain replacement project. Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will replace a cross drain in the area between 18000 and 18416 School Road, just west of the intersection with Straughan Nursery Road. The closure is scheduled from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on the day of construction. During that time frame, no traffic will be allowed to pass through the construction zone. Detours will be posted, Miller said.
