Yesterday morning in Acadia Parish a Louisiana State Trooper conducted a traffic stop involving a 2012 Ford F250 on Interstate 10 for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, it was discovered that the driver had an active warrant for attempted first degree murder. Troopers took the driver, 33-year-old Zarius Brown of Franklinton, into custody. As the investigation progressed, it was discovered that Brown was in possession of a stolen pistol. Brown was booked into Acadia Parish Jail on numerous charges.
