In a message from LHSAA’s Executive Director Eddie Bonine to the House Education Commitee, he said high school football games will not be played in Louisiana until the state reached Phase Four of reopening.
He said that they’re not cancelling any fall sports, but have been talking to schools and are going with recommendations from the White House, CDC and National Federation of High Schools. “When it comes down to what could potentially happen, what the season is going to look like, what the timeline looks like, it all depends on when we get students back to school.
No practice or scrimmaging is allowed in Phase Two for football, basketball, soccer or wrestling. In Phase Three, players can return to practice, but cannot do contact drills or scrimmages,
