The Louisiana Department of Health reported 1,891 cases reported to the state since July 7, 2020. The collection dates for most of these cases fall between July 1 and July 8. Since yesterday, 18,139 new tests have been reported to the state. That brings the total number of tests to 865,737. 95% of the cases reported to the state today were community spread. 39% of the cases reported today are of individuals aged 29 and under. There have been 20 deaths reported to the state bringing the current total death count to 3,231.
