Tangi Library says congratulations to Marcus Brown, a senior at Ponchatoula High School, for being named the 2025 African American Honorary Service Award Recipient.
All are invited this Saturday, at 10:00 am in the Amite Branch as they honor Marcus and all of this year’s nominees: A’Maya Collins, Jewel M. Sumner High School; Ahyana Coleman, Amite High Magnet School; Amari Jackson, Ponchatoula Junior High School; Aariya Coleman, Amite High Magnet School; Harmonee Martin, Kentwood High Magnet School; A’Miyah Simmons, Spring Creek; Kaitlyn Triggs, Mater Dolorosa Catholic School; Jabari Aucoin, Ponchatoula High School; and Jada Alexus Sim, Hammond High Magnet School.
