Sheriff Randy Smith unveiled the new STPSO Memorial Wall yesterday with family members of the STPSO deputies who have died in the line of duty present for the ceremony.
The wall is located at the STPSO Headquarters, 300 Brownswitch Road in Slidell, and members of the community are invited to come view the wall to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our community.
They are Louis Wagner, EOW June 3, 1978; John Bonnell III, EOW July 10, 1979; Hilery Mayo, EOW June 9, 2007; Linden “Beau” Raimer, EOW June 13, 2007; and Marylyn Mayo, EOW September 21, 2023.
