At the beginning of each year, City Club of Hammond hosts a banquet to recognize outstanding law enforcement officers from many local agencies.
This year’s honorees were: Louisiana State Police Recipient: Tpr. James Harper; Louisiana department of wildlife and fisheries Recipient: Senior Agent Dustin Slade; Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Recipient: Detective Alexandra Nanni; SLU Police Department Recipient: Investigator Allissa Hauck; Hammond Police Department Recipient: Officer Mark Duncan; Ponchatoula Police Department Recipient: Sgt. Stacey Laurent; and Lifetime Achievement: Sheriff Daniel H. Edwards in Recognition of a Distinguished Career in Public Service.
