Bethany “Renee” Simmons (Paraprofessional, Magnolia Trace Elementary), Paul McClain (Head Custodian, Folsom Junior High), Jennifer Normand (Clerical Worker, Fontainebleau High), and Mary Ann Ladner (Braillist, Harrison Curriculum Center) have been selected as the St. Tammany Parish Public School System’s 2024-2025 Outstanding School and Support Employees of the Year.
These employees play a vital role in the school system’s academic success and will represent STPPS at the upcoming state-level competition. The employees were selected based on their excellence in areas such as work performance and skill, school and community involvement, leadership, commitment, and contributing to student success.
Superintendent Frank Jabbia said Renee, Paul, Jennifer, and Mary Ann show all of us what it means to go above and beyond for both your school district and your community. He added that the support staff is the backbone of the school system and they could not operate without their incredible dedication and work ethic.
