On November 16, 2024, at approximately 7:05 pm, the Hammond Police Department responded to a burglary in the 1500 block area of Pecan Street.
The suspect is a black male and walking a white and brown dog.
The suspect entered the home and was able to steal a few items before the owner surprised him. The suspect left on foot heading south on Pecan Street.
