The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office says FIVE are in Custody Following Investigations Tied to Social Media Platforms.
Detectives with the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) TASK FORCE – along with the assistance of the Louisiana Bureau of Investigations/Attorney General’s Office, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office ICAC Task Force (Wisconsin) – were able to proactively initiate investigations into FIVE different individuals on various social media platforms.
Sheriff Jason Ard says detectives identified individuals preying on naive and innocent juvenile users of social media platforms and gaming servers online.
During these investigations, the following subjects were arrested on numerous charges: Emmanuel Rivas, 26, of Denham Springs; Lee Lepke, 31, of Soldiers Grove, WI; Jason Shaw, 41, of Walker, LA; Paul Briley Venable, 37, of Lafayette, LA; and Brandon Buhler, 27, of Hammond.
