
The Tangipahoa Chamber invites all business leaders to join them on Tuesday, April 9, for a Luncheon featuring the Secretary of Louisiana Workforce Commission Susie Schowen and a panel of regional partners.
The program will focus on connecting business leaders to important resources and will be held in the Southeastern Student Union Grand Ballroom.
Secretary Schowen will speak on the future of workforce development in Louisiana, particularly collaborative efforts that align education with the needs of employers and the economy.
Panel members include Dr. Tara’ Lopez, Dean of the College of Business at Southeastern Louisiana University, Tina Roper, Director of Workforce Development for Geaux Jobs LWDA20, Bridget LaBorde, Director of Workforce Training and Development for Northshore Technical Community College and Craig Marinello, Director of the Office of Career Services for Southeastern Louisiana University.
Melissa Bordelon, President and CEO of the chamber said be sure to invite decision members of your team, as well as other business leaders in the community, who might benefit from this information and membership in the Tangipahoa Chamber.
Individual seats and Reserved Tables for eight (8) are available. Registration is required by this Friday, April 5 at noon and NO tickets will be available at the door.
