
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office says there have been potential sightings of a missing Tangipahoa man in St. Tammany.

Sheriff Edwards said there was an increase in reward for any information regarding the disappearance or whereabouts of Stephen J. Cottier. Sheriff Daniel Edwards says 52 YO Stephen J. Cottier of Hammond was last seen on October 13, 2023. Cottier was last heard from on October 14, 2023, when he sent a text message to a friend saying he was returning to Hamond from the Covington area, but never returned. Cottier was known to be driving a blue Ford F-150, with Louisiana license plate Z517286, and has since been seen on Highway 40 in the Uneedus area, which is near the Tangipahoa / St. Tammany Parish line.
