
The Hammond Police Department Narcotics Division opened a criminal investigation after receiving information that illegal narcotics were being distributed from the business, 1Ten, located at 1406 Corbin Road.
During the investigation, HPD Detectives obtained arrest warrants for Quentin Jennings, 39 years old of Hammond. HPD also secured search warrants for 1Ten and two residences associated with Jennings.
On February 1, 2024, HPD Narcotics Division, HPD Special Response Team, Drug Enforcement Administration, Homeland Security Investigations and Louisiana Probation and Parole executed the search warrants. When located, Jennings was found to have a large bag of suspected crack cocaine inside of his mouth.
He was taken into custody without incident and booked accordingly.
Three additional people were arrested during the searches. Ladarius Jennings, 24 years old of Hammond, and currently on probation for possession of illegal narcotics and weapons charges, was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Violation of Probation. Quinton Jennings Jr, 18 years old of Hammond, was charged with Possession of Meth. Sloane Wells, 32 years old of Hammond, was charged with Possession of Meth.
