A former Slidell Police officer was arrested yesterday for stealing prescription narcotics from the department’s evidence room.
48 YO Todd Dillon was booked into the Slidell City Jail on 15 counts of Theft, 16 counts of Possession of a Schedule II CDS, 2 counts of Possession of a Schedule IV CDS, and Malfeasance in Office.
Slidell Police Chief Randy Fandal said Dillon had the opportunity to seek help like any other citizen and he has zero tolerance for bad cops.
Dillon was employed with the Slidell Police Department since January of 2016. He resigned last month, after learning of the criminal investigation into his wrongdoings.
