In order to perform the next phase of asphalt work, Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller said crews will have to close the intersection of South Airport Road, North Hoover Road, and Sisters Road next weekend.
On Saturday, Nov. 11, and Sunday, Nov. 12, the roundabout will be closed to thru-traffic from approximately 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day while crews install the final lift of asphalt in the traffic circle.
Officials encourage motorists to make plans to avoid this intersection during the construction next weekend.
