The Louisiana Food Truck Festival, presented by the Silver Slipper Casino and hosted by the Friends of the Harbor Center, returns to the Harbor Center on October 7th from 11am to 3pm.
Admission is free and the Fest will happen rain or shine.
This year’s festival will feature 20 food trucks offering a wide variety of unique food selections. Christian Serpas and Ghost Town will kick off the musical entertainment at 11:00 am, followed by PaperChase from 1:00 – 3:00pm.
The festival will also feature vendors offering a wide variety of products including jewelry, clothing, candles, sweet treats and so much more.
Food Trucks will submit a dish to be judged by a culinary panel as they compete for the title “Best of the Fest.” “Best of the Fest” winner will be announced at 12:30. As they enjoy the wide variety of dishes, attendees will also have the opportunity to cast their vote for the “People’s Choice” winner which will be announced at 2:30.
The Louisiana Food Truck Festival happens twice a year. Mark your calendars now for the March 2nd festival.
In case of inclement weather, the festival moves inside the Harbor Center.
No outside food or drinks will be permitted.
