The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office reports one person was hospitalized following a Tuesday evening shooting.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards says shortly after 6:30 pm yesterday, deputies responded to a shooting on East Cooper Road in Independence after a dispute between brothers lead to shots fired.
Sheriff Edwards says the victim was taken to the hospital, and charges are pending for the suspect.
