On Saturday, September 2, the Bogalusa Police Department responded to a report of shots being fired at Juanita’s Bar & Grill located at 132 Richmond Street.
On arrival, Officers discovered that there was a victim of the shooting, who suffered from two gunshot wounds to his lower extremities. The victim was transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
Officers and Detectives quickly identified the suspect as 21 YO Jarmine Alexander of Baker. With the assistance of the Baker Police Department, Alexander was arrested at his residence and a 9mm handgun was also recovered.
Alexander was being held at the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office awaiting his transport to the Bogalusa Police Department.
