Covington Police say they are thrilled to announce the return of Caroline Darby Christmas Wish, an event that allows children in need to pick out Christmas toys each year, helping make their holiday season a little bit brighter and merrier.
Historically, Caroline Darby’s Christmas Wish Toy Giveaway has provided toys to approximately 500 children in the Covington area each year.
Regrettably, over the past three years, due to COVID-19 restrictions, they could not host events that normally raised the funds needed to support the giveaway.
This year they are hosting a golf tournament at the Royal Golf Club in Slidell to help support this year’s event. It will be October 20 with a shotgun start at 1. All proceeds will go directly to Caroline Darby’s Christmas Wish Toy Giveaway.
