Hammond Rotary Club proudly announces their Christmas Parade will roll through the streets of Hammond on December 15.
Alexis Ducorbier, State Farm Agent, will sponsor the club’s 65th parade and has chosen the theme Christmas at the Farm.
Southeastern Louisiana University’s new president, Dr. William Wainwright, will serve as Grand Marshal.
New this year, we are announcing Grand Dame, Mrs. Frances Chauvin, who has served as a parade judge for many years.
The parade will line up at Southeastern’s University Center’s parking lot. The parade will begin at 5:30 pm and roll down General Pershing on its usual route. The judge’s stand will be located on Magnolia Street in front of PJ’s coffee. Commercial, noncommercial, dance groups and automobiles are welcome to join the parade.
