Chief Bry Layrisson says the Ponchatoula Police Department responded to a call of shots fired at Walmart on Sunday at 8:34 pm.
Upon arrival, officers were unable to locate any victims or suspects.
During the investigation, officers determined that one local business was struck and two vehicles.
No one was injured.
The investigation revealed a physical altercation between a Walmart employee and several male individuals escalated into one of the individuals pulling a firearm. The department has made two arrests for the fight and continues investigating the shooting.
