The Southeastern Louisiana University Presidential Search Committee announced two finalists, down from the five semifinalists who interacted with the committee and stakeholders earlier this week.
The committee voted unanimously to forward the two finalists to the full Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System.
The finalists are Sebastian van Delden, Dean, School of Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering, from The College of Charleston; and William Wainwright, Chancellor, Northshore Technical Community College.
The Board will hold a special meeting Thursday, April 27 to interview finalists and select the institution’s next president.
