
The Hammond Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying an individual wanted in connection to a theft that occurred on March 18, 2022 at approximately 9:45 am, at Berry Town Produce at 2600 West Church Street.
After reviewing security footage, HPD detectives observed the suspect exit a black ford F-150 truck, approach an unattended shopping cart, and take a bank bag containing approximately $5,000 in cash.
The suspect is described as a middle-aged black male, wearing a red striped shirt and red hat.
