The Hammond Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred on February 2, at approximately 10:20 am, at Ulta Beauty, located at 2026 Hammond Square Drive.
After reviewing security footage, HPD detectives observed a black female enter the store and walk to an area containing straightening irons. The suspect concealed six assorted Babyliss straightening irons, which totaled over $800, in her purse and exited the store without paying. T
he suspect left the parking area in a black, four-door sedan.
