On Thursday, October 28th, from 5:30-9:30pm, the 5th Annual Oxtoberfest, but the INAUGURAL Louisiana Craft Beer Dinner, will take place at the Seiler Bar & Patio located at 434 N. Columbia St in downtown Covington.
Tickets are $75 and can be purchased online only at www.oxtoberfest.org.
Enjoy a delicious and thoughtfully paired multi-course dinner at Covington’s Seiler Bar & Patio while hearing from owners and reps of local breweries and sampling some of their featured, craft beers.
The evening will begin with a happy hour and welcome from 5:30-6:30 and the dinner will begin at 6:30. Each of the 3 sit down courses will be paired with a local brewery and the evening will continue with a dessert reception on the patio where the live music and local beer will continue with a live auction to close out the night.
All proceeds benefit the Boys & Girls Club- Covington Unit and the event concludes around 9:30 pm.
While the Oxtoberfest Committee was disappointed to have to cancel their traditional beer fest in 2020 & 2021 due to Covid-19 restrictions, Hurricane Ida, etc they are excited for the opportunity to “pivot” and think outside the box, creating this exciting new event that supports both a local restaurant and breweries as well at the Covington Boys & Girls Club. They plan to be full steam ahead for 2022 and make it a weekend-long event with Beer & Bites on a Friday night and the traditional beer fest on Saturday.
