The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting on I-10 near Franklin Avenue.
The victim told investigators that he was riding in car when an unknown vehicle pulled up and fired multiple shots into the passenger side of the car.
Two shots hit the victim, who drove himself to a local hospital.
A portion of I-10 was closed early Sunday morning as police investigated the crime. All lanes have since reopened.
No other details are being released at this time.
