Northshore Technical Community College (NTCC) proudly dedicated the William S. Wainwright Student Success Center, a tribute to the remarkable leadership and lasting contributions of Dr. William S. Wainwright, who served as Chancellor from 2011 to May 2023.
Dr. Wainwright’s tenure at NTCC was defined by growth, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to student success.
Beginning his journey at the Sullivan Campus in Bogalusa, he spearheaded transformative initiatives that positioned NTCC among the nation’s fastest-growing community colleges. His leadership tripled enrollment, expanded NTCC’s footprint, and strengthened workforce partnerships, creating pathways for students to thrive in high-demand careers.
Dr. Jim Carlson, Chancellor of NTCC, said the dedication is more than just a name on the wall in a building—it is a testament to the extraordinary legacy of a leader who has devoted his entire career to empowering students and transforming lives.
