Tour de Lis is a fun event with a serious mission. All proceeds support the work of the Cancer Association of Louisiana (CALA) — formerly known as the Cancer Association of Greater New Orleans. CALA provides support to “fill the gaps” for cancer patients across the state. The nonprofit organization, which was founded in 1958, provides an array of assistance for patients, including financial help with household living expenses, insurance co-pays and medical supplies, gas cards for transportation to treatment, financial help for purchasing prescriptions, as well as education on cancer prevention.
All registered riders will receive a Tour de Lis shirt and other memorabilia.
Capacity is limited so don’t wait to register.
The Tour de Lis La is a signature event of the Cancer Association of Louisiana. Money raised will help cancer patients and their families cope with the physical and emotional challenges of a cancer diagnosis. The ride also provides an opportunity to ride in memory of a loved one and to celebrate the hope and strength of survivors and those still in battle.
