The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office (TPSO) needs the public’s assistance in its investigation of a double shooting in the Kentwood area over the weekend.
Around 1:30 a.m., the agency received a report of a man shot in the leg while sitting in a car outside of a bar located in the 78000 block of Highway 51. As deputies were responding, a call came in reporting another man shot at an address on Potts Road in the area.
Ultimately, deputies determined the two individuals, a 26-year-old man and a 29-year-old man, were related to the same incident. Both men were hospitalized, but at this time, neither is facing life-threatening injuries.
