Mayor Bill Borchert and the City of Slidell announced that Cindy Strecker was selected as the Arts Evening 2025 Poster Artist!
Her beautiful artwork “Perched” will be featured on this year’s event poster and publicity materials.
A versatile, self-taught artist with deep Louisiana roots, Cindy creates beautiful works across multiple mediums, from watercolors to oils, capturing everything from our coastal wildlife to local landscapes.
Join them for the 30th annual Arts Evening on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 5 to 9 p.m. in Olde Towne Slidell. This free, family-friendly event will feature over 50 talented artists at over 30 participating locations, live entertainment, great food and drinks from local restaurants, and unique shopping opportunities.
