Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser says if you know someone who has demonstrated compassion and dedication, leadership and initiative, or innovation and creativity in addressing community challenges and serving others then you can nominate them for the Champions of Service Award.
Nominations close January 31st.
The annual Champions of Service Awards recognize outstanding volunteers who go above and beyond through a competitive award process. Award recipients are selected from seven geographic regions across the state, along with an outstanding AmeriCorps member and volunteer group.
Awardees will be recognized by Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser at a luncheon event on April 28th in Baton Rouge.
