Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Gerald Sticker announces the formal booking of one of two suspects in the Brunett case.
Daniel Callihan, 36, was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on Monday, July 15, on First Degree Murder, Aggravated Kidnapping of a Child, Second Degree Kidnapping, Armed Robbery, and more.
Following the booking, Callihan was arraigned at the Tangipahoa Parish Courthouse on the charges included in the previously announced indictment by the 21st JDC District Attorney’s Office.
Callihan is the primary suspect in the murder of Callie Brunett and her 4 YO daughter, Erin, as well as the kidnapping of her other daughter, 6 YO Jalie.
Following the court appearance, Callihan was transported back to a facility outside of the parish.
