St Tammany Government says major improvements are on the way to Level Street in Abita Springs.
President Cooper, Mayor Curtis, Councilwoman Tanner and other local officials gathered to officially start a joint road improvement project in Abita Springs.
St. Tammany Parish and Abita Springs are working together to improve two miles of Level Street from the traffic circle to the intersection of Burvant and Flot.
The project will include drainage improvements, speed tables, rain gardens and new sidewalks and is expected to be completed by early 2025.
