21st Judicial DA Scott Perrilloux announced that a Tangipahoa Grand Jury will convene today to consider the case against Daniel Callihan and Victoria Cox.
Callihan and Cox have been arrested and charged in last week’s murders of 35 YO Callie Brunette of Loranger, and her 4 YO daughter Erin.
Perrilloux stated the Grand Jury will start at approximately 9 a.m. The District Attorney’s Office will address the media after the Grand Jury report is received by a Judge.
According to Perrilloux, the matter is proceeding in Tangipahoa as it is the appropriate and legal venue. The District Attorney’s Office declines any further comment on the case at this time.
