All three taxes on the ballot in Tangipahoa Parish passed by huge margins, including Tangi Fire District 1, and the Hammond Recreation Millage Renewal.
The 3 mils for the Florida Parishes Juvenile Detention Center was also approved in all 5 parishes.
Likewise, all taxes on the ballot in St. Tammany passed by huge margins. That includes the millage renewals for Rec District 1 and 2, Fire District’s 5 and 6, a bond for Rec District 14, and the Slidell Police Sales Tax, which passed with almost 80% of the vote.
In Washington Parish Fire District 4 and 8 got their renewals passed, as well as the millage continuation for School District 2.
