Parish officials say the new Niagara Bottling Company is just days away from sending out its first shipment from their new facility in Tangipahoa Parish.
Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller and several department leaders from Tangipahoa Parish Government were on hand as corporate executives conducted a final walk-thru of the new manufacturing and shipping facility located on the northwest corner of the I-12 interchange in Robert.
Established in 1963, the company established itself as a national leader in high quality affordable bottled water with geographically diversified production facilities throughout the United States.
The Robert’s facility’s first pallets of water are expected to ship on Wednesday, February 14.
Accompanying Miller on the tour were Tangipahoa Parish Economic Development Director Ginger Cangelosi, the parish’s Geaux Jobs Workforce Director Tina Roper, and Director of Homeland Security and Emergency Operations Dawson Primes.
