The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for information regarding a business burglary where several vehicles were stolen.
Sheriff Daniel Edwards says in the early morning hours of December 22, 2023, several subjects broke into Big Wheel Wrecker Service on Club Deluxe Road, and stole two vehicles.
Both vehicles were recovered after they were found crashed in the confines of Tangipahoa Parish, but the suspects remain at large.
Still shots taken from the security footage show at least four subjects entering numerous vehicles, one of which they used to do donuts in the parking lot of the wrecker yard. A white dodge pickup truck is also seen in the footage, which is believed to be the vehicle used to drop the suspects off at the wrecker yard.
A newer model white Ford Bronco is also believed to be involved in the crime. Security footage facing Club Deluxe Road shows a white Bronco passing back and forth in front of the business during the time the suspects were in the wrecker yard.
Sheriff Edwards asks anyone with information regarding the burglary and vehicle thefts to contact Detective Alex Nanni at 985-902-2018, OR if you wish to remain anonymous, please call Crime Stoppers of Tangipahoa’s anonymous tip line at 1.800.554.5245 or visit www.tangicrimestoppers.com and click on the P3 Tips icon or Submit A Tip!
